
Yes, my close friend has the same problem - in her case, it's an allergy to some of the grains - she can not drink beer, vodka, whiskey nor bourbon, but she still can drink wine for example. You should take some test for allergies, than you will know for sure.

I don't know if it is asthma or not. But, to be honest, you should visit your doctor as soon as possible.
