Sure, you’re burning a lot of calories when you work out a lot or work in a physically demanding job. But this does not mean you can eat whatever high-fat, high-sugar foods you want. You still need to eat a sensible low-fat diet with lean protein in order to make more muscles and keep the ones you have. If you don’t eat enough nutrients, your body will cannibalize your muscles in order to get the nutrients it needs. The body will go through muscles before breaking into fat.
