There’s no need to avoid saturated fat like the plague. A little saturated fat is good for men because it helps keep testosterone levels up. Like with most things in life, moderation is the key. Saturated fats should make up less than 15% of your diet. That comes to 20 grams per day. Foods high in saturated fats include processed pork products such as sausage and bacon, beef, butter, coconut oil, dried coconut, fish oil, palm oil, lard, hard goat cheese and whipped cream. The fats you should avoid are trans fats, found in margarine.
