That’s not true. Sure, you’ll lose weight if you eat fewer calories, such as going on a crash diet, but it won’t shrink your fat deposits. The weight you lose will only be water weight. If you eat junk food or low calorie foods instead of nutritious food, your body will begin cannibalizing your muscles and bones rather than dip into your fat deposits. This is why it’s so important to eat nutritious foods and exercise. Your body will then need to break down your fat in order to get the energy it needs.
